Hi , thank you for visiting and checking out my work. My name is Tonia and I am an illustrator and middle school art teacher from the tri-state area. I was able to recognize my artistic ability at a very young age which has created a life long outlet for me. Whether it be painting, dancing, piano or sketching I always felt the need to express myself through the arts. As a teacher I love to share this passion with my students helping them connect and feel confident with their inner artist. Between working on my personal stuff and assisting my students with theirs I pretty much eat, sleep and dream art.
It has always been amazing to me how artists transport their creative experience to an empty blank surface and create an image that will create connections and emotions within people. My love of perspective, documentary, mix media and nostalgia are protrayed thoughout my collection. Inspiration is rooted from my photography, travel, life experiences and childhood entertainment.
